These terms apply when you use Find My Accountant or submit an enquiry through this website.

1. About the service

Find My Accountant is operated by Lexio Digital Limited (company number 751189), registered at 77 Whitebarn Road, Dublin 14, as an independent business-accountancy enquiry and information service. It is not an accountancy practice and does not itself provide accounting, audit, tax, investment, legal or regulated financial advice.

2. No appointment or guarantee

Submitting an enquiry does not appoint Find My Accountant or any accountancy firm, create a professional-client relationship, guarantee that a firm is available, or oblige you to proceed. We do not guarantee a response time, quotation, saving, outcome or suitability of any firm.

3. Sharing an enquiry

If you tick the consent box, your enquiry may be sent automatically to one participating accountancy firm serving your selected area so that the firm can contact you. We will not send the same enquiry simultaneously to multiple firms. If no participating firm is available, Lexio Digital Limited will hold the enquiry and contact you before sharing it. Any professional engagement is entered into directly between you and the firm under its own engagement terms, fees, conflicts procedures and professional responsibilities.

4. Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate, current information and have authority to provide business information included in an enquiry. Do not submit unlawful content, another person’s confidential information without authority, malware, passwords, bank details or unnecessary identity documents.

You remain responsible for statutory filings, payments and deadlines. Do not delay urgent tax, payroll, CRO or other compliance action while waiting for a response through this service.

5. Information and articles

Website content is general information for Irish businesses and may not reflect your circumstances. Pricing examples are illustrative or provider-published examples rather than official averages or quotations. Although we aim to review content, information may become incomplete or outdated. Obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional before acting.

6. Participating firms

A firm’s participation, advertising or receipt of an enquiry is not a guarantee or endorsement of every service, individual or outcome. Before appointing a firm, you should review its qualifications, regulatory status, experience, proposed scope, fees and engagement terms.

7. Availability

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website or enquiry service. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability and may reject incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, unsuitable or out-of-scope submissions.

8. Intellectual property

The website design, branding, original text, software and databases are owned by or licensed to Find My Accountant. You may read and print reasonable extracts for your own business use, but may not copy, scrape, republish, resell or systematically extract the site or its content without written permission.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Find My Accountant is not responsible for professional advice or services supplied by an independent firm, decisions made on the basis of general website content, missed deadlines, indirect loss, loss of profit or loss caused by events outside reasonable control.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The Irish courts will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
